NIXHelp launched during the fall of 1999.  We provide GPL level support over IRC.

GOAL:

To provide complimentary internet help for those that desire to learn LINUX / UNIX / BSD (and also Plan 9).  

MISSION:

Our mission is simple: we learn more by helping others learn.  In the case of NIXhelp, this means that we support those that are beginning to learn LINUX/UNIX/BSD by providing help to those that need it.  We seek to expand our support network through the IRC platform.

NON-PROFIT:

We are currently pursuing non-profit status within the US and possibly function as a legal charity in the UK
